Thank you for your interest in our organization and our newly created website! On September 22nd the Friends will celebrate our 60th anniversary of the day we became a charitable nonprofit. Our registered name with the feds is McMinnville Senior Citizens, Inc. but we do business as the Friends of McMinnville Senior Center (FMSC) and we are known informally as “the Friends”. Our goals have always been to walk hand-in-hand with the Senior Center and the city in partnership to make our center the very best it can possibly be. We do that by working with center management to support them monetarily with items that are needed such as furniture, appliances, coffee, etc. We are an all-volunteer group and monies are raised through membership fees, raffles, quilt sales, games and donations. We donate 10% of all fund raising profits back to the Senior Center, too!
